“This is a flash fiction challenge where we provide you with a new photo each week, and the first sentence of a story. Your challenge is to finish the story using 100-150 words, not including the sentence provided.”

Are you laughing at me?

Me? Laugh at you? Nooo never.

You laughed at me yesterday!

I wasn’t laughing AT you, I was laughing WITH you!

Does this look like my laughing face.

You were laughing yesterday!

Was not!

Was too!

Was not!

Was too!

Remember? You started it!

It wasn’t my fault you ran into the wall!

You pushed me!

I didn’t! I was just walking!

So was I!

Betsy, what are those two female creatures arguing about?

Arguing? No, no Franny, they aren’t arguing. That is human teasing. It means they are friends.

Really??? How can you tell?

Well, you were sleeping, but yesterday that one gave the hurt one a bunch of brown sweet stuff. You know, the kind that makes you happy.

Ohhh! You mean chocolate! Yes, indeed, that is the ultimate sign of friendship!
