Sunday Photo Fiction – Oct. 25th 2015 to write a piece [around 200 words] whether it is a story or poetry using the image as inspiration.
I feel I should say again, this is a work of FICTION.

So Sven, ‘ow do you like my new drain pipe?
Is that what it is? Ollie I think you need your eyes checked. Or maybe even your brain…
No no, Sven. You see it is a new contraption. It drains the rain water off the roof AND creates electricity for our ‘ouse.
Ollie, Ollie, I think you’ve been ‘ad.
Sven…
Fine. Tell me ‘ow it works.
Oo ooo! You see, the water rushes by that big round part, which in turn makes the little circle turn very fast and there is a wire attached to the center of the little circle and the new electricity goes through the wire to a black box in the ‘ouse where it is stored until we need it for the lights and such. The installer told us not to touch the black box or we would get shocked, or worse electrocuted!
Ollie. You been ‘ad. That is just a old bicycle on top your roof. ‘Ow do you explain the top cross piece?
That is for lighting strikes!!!
What about when it isn’t raining?
It is always raining!
It’s not raining now my friend.

Good story AnnaMae. I definitely think he’s been had. Although I would love to find out if it really does work or not.

I had thought if there were some sort of scoop on the big wheel it could be like a water wheel. I can just see a line of them like Christmas lights around the top of a roof! The black box that could electrocute you was a little extra fanciful though. Thanks for stopping by!
