11-’15 Day 11- Jørgen Kleppe

So this is an idea that stemmed from a prompt I found on a random site. It was to describe a person (per your imagination) by only their name.

Jørgen Kleppe is a very large Norwegian. Standing at 6’3″ he can be seen above the crowds. He is also broad chested having played American football in high school and college. With bleach blonde hair and dusky blue eyes he would be considered very handsome; if he hadn’t broken his nose and square jaw while working in construction. He has had a variety of laborious jobs that have kept him fit, but now, 45 and with joint pain, he has gained some paunch to his middle.

He’s found himself recently in a cushy office job where he enters names, dates, and other alpha-numeric items into various spreadsheets and word documents. The only problem is that his cubicle is tiny. Tiny? No minuscule. And gray. Gray carpet, gray ceiling, gray frosted glass on top of the gray wall, gray desk, and even a box of gray pencils tipped over in the corner. To make up for it he wears obnoxiously bright and ethnically patterned ties over his grey shirts.

His lifelong dream, though, is to start a summer camp for under privileged boys. To teach them about nature and football, and manners and ethics, and, well, to be good men.
